What is the ARG/US CHEQ™ System?
CHarter Evaluation
and Qualification System. CHEQ™ is
a centralized “due diligence” system that
collects, updates, verifies, and evaluates information
on a Charter operator and the pilots and aircraft that
are under the operational control of the Charter Certificate
holder. ARG/US puts the factual information in one place
to help the charter customer make sure the service they
are purchasing meets their individual standards. The
CHEQ™ report and rating is a strategic look at
the operational history and makeup of the charter provider.
TripCHEQ™ is an up-to-date tactical
view of the combination of the company, aircraft, and
crew to make sure that the specific combination for your
trip meets your standards. The printed TripCHEQ report
can be used as a pre-boarding check to make sure to are
getting what you expect, and for security verification
of the correct airplane and flight crew. Most large users
of aircraft charter run a TripCHEQ every time they book
a flight.
What do the CHEQ™ Ratings mean?
Gold Rating – For those operators
who provide data on the aircraft and pilots, and keep
this data current and accurate, ARG/US will evaluate
for a Gold Rating. The Gold level is assigned to operators
who meet or exceed the established ARG/US standards for
equipment and crew experience. The emphasis is not only
age of aircraft, but also on modern avionics, progressive
maintenance, and proven safety devices such as TCAD/TCAS,
FMS, and TAWS/GPWS.
